Virtual Workshop for ISSS:
Scholar Module

The TDS Scholar Module provides a clean user interface for management of J-1 scholars and H-1B employees. The Scholar Module streamlines the sponsorship and onboarding process for international scholars and employees, by improving support of department-initiated requests and information exchange. You’ll be able to initiate J-1 scholar and H-1B employee records, loop in host departments and faculty to contribute to moving scholars through your processes, and give prospective scholars access to your online scholar record management.

The implementation of the Scholar Module is an intuitive process that follows a specific set of steps as documented in the 'Guide to Implement Scholars' Knowledgebase article.  For those that would like a structured workshop to review the implementation steps, see a demonstration, and spend time for hands-on practice, then the TDS Scholar Module Workshop is for you!

The TDS Scholar Module Workshop is a 2-week online training beginning July 22, 2019.  The workshop is designed for clients who have a TDS license for ISSS and are interested in a fast-paced intensive workshop to accelerate and complete the implementation of the Scholar Module on their campus.

This workshop will offer clients training and coaching in a personalized setting, utilizing a mixture of demonstration, hands-on development, and group work - all from the convenience of your office.

During the 2-weeks, participants should plan to spend an average of 2 hours per day for 3 days each week in training/meeting/working sessions plus an additional couple of hours per day outside of the structured sessions in order to accomplish the goals of the program. Clients who are able to devote additional hours will have greater outcomes at the completion of the workshop.
